Saw your post on the Jobs board. Whitmore takes two summer interns in Milwaukee. Not Chicago, but I'll send you the posting if you want it.
You replied: Yes please. Milwaukee works, my aunt lives there.
Fieldstone's intern program takes finance majors. Our FP&A team had one last summer and hired her. Want me to put your name in?
Questions you asked
You said Anchor Point takes a finance intern. When does the posting go up? And what should my resume lead with? I have one bookkeeping job and a lot of soccer.
October 1. Lead with the bookkeeping job, then the soccer. Four years of 6 a.m. lifts reads as work ethic to every hiring manager I know. Send it to me before the 1st and I'll hand it over myself.
How did you handle internship interviews during the season? Mine keep landing on travel days.
Tell them your schedule up front. Every firm I've worked for moved an interview for a game. The ones that won't are telling you something.
